About Us Elcomponent have been in the Energy Management business since 1986 and we're now a major player in sub-metering, portable energy data logging and Power Factor Correction equipment. Based near Stansted Airport in Hertfordshire, we are a privately owned business determined to provide our customers with the best possible tools for reducing their energy bills and Climate Change Levy liabilities. We have three full-time sales engineers, Bill Gysin, Stefan Kawalek and Chris Fackrell, backed by a team of professionals working at our purpose built offices in Bishop's Stortford. Products Elcomponent has the resources and experience to provide a solution to all of your energy monitoring requirements utilising both portable and fixed systems. We have supplied more portable energy analysers to UK customers since 1986 than any other single manufacturer, and since 1998 have supplied more than 200 automatic sub-metering systems to applications included MOD sites, government buildings, major supermarkets and a host of manufacturing plants. We also supply and install automatic Power Factor Correction equipment, and provide a free power factor assessment service to our customers. PFC is a simple and effective route to GUARANTEED energy savings, and our RAM units are among the most advanced in the world. Utilising high quality AEG capacitors, they also feature sophisticated electronic control systems which provide greatly increased reliability and longer life. All our products are designed to be simple to set up and use, and provide reliable cost-effective performance from day one, delivering fast payback with minimum operator training. Services Elcomponent offers a comprehensive service and support package on all products, in addition to the specific services listed below: Panel Building We operate an in-house panel building facility for both turnkey and customer installed metering systems. Panels are manufactured to the highest standards and are supplied fully fused ready for wall mounting. All connections are made to clearly marked terminal blocks for fast and easy installation. Installation For sub-metering systems and Power Factor Correction, we can deliver a turnkey package using our own installation and commissioning engineers who take care of every aspect of the job including final configuration and verification. Alternatively we offer full support to those customers who choose to handle installation in-house, ensuring that the project goes smoothly. Maintenance Agreements A very competitively price Maintenance Agreement is available on all sub-metering systems which delivers free software upgrades, on-site support and a lifetime hardware warranty. Training We offer training on all our products, both portable instruments and systems, with packages tailored to your requirements.
